From your browser you can send the page containing the Secure Image by email, and it will give the same result result as if the visitor is at your web site. If the page is in a protected folder, the same permissions will also apply. But if the recipient saves that page (inc, the Java files) the image will NOT be visible locally or from any where else except from your web site.

Please note that this cannot be done with Copysafe.

In your browser you will find an option for "Send page" in the drop down menus in the tool bar. First load the page that you wish to send, then select the option and follow the instructions. Please note that unless all files are served from a web site that this will not work. It will not work with local files because they cannot link to them.

Sending a proof by email

A clever option for sending proofs by email is by using Secure Image (not Pro), whereby if you send them a zip of all the files (including the class files) prepared in an unregistered/demo version. The image will only be viewable for 48 hours.

Or better still... send it as a single encrypted archive using ArtistScope CD. The demo version has 48 hour automatic expiration and is free.
