Unfortunately Windows XP Home Edition does not support Personal Web Server as does Windows 95/98/2000/XPpro. The simplest solution is upgrading to Windows XP Pro.
However there are other alternatives that may be more economical. After testing about 12 different softwares for creating a local web server using a complex Frontpage
assembled ASP web site with Access database and shopping cart, the best combination was using Abyss Webserver
in conjunction with ActiveHTML and Microsoft Scripting version 5.6.
Total cost US$37 instead of Aud$250 for the Pro upgrade.
