Secure Image will protect your images from all avenues of downloading and saving except from screen capture where a snap of the screen is taken. Most captures will only obtain an image at 72 dpi. If you are using high resolution images they will be safe with Secure Image.

Spiders, grab applications and programs such as Xenu and Teleport Pro that search a site and provide a report of all the linked content cannot locate the protected image folder nor the Java and data files associated with the images.

There is no limit to the size and the resolution used to portray the image. The only concern is the download time as with any large image or array of images. As a guide most screen monitors are only 72 dpi.

Secure Image supports all browsers on Windows, Linux and Mac computers. The software for encryption is also available for use on all platforms.

Mouse clicking offers several options for saving or copying the page or image. Secure Image prevents right mouse click operations in several ways, depending on which applet style is used. If it is the Standard display the visitor will be transported to a set page or the next link. If no link is on the image - no difference because the mouse cannot activate a menu from the applet. If swap image or show text display is used that is all the visitor will get. They will not be able to mouse save any of the images.

Secure Image encrypts JPG, GIF and most animated GIF images which can be viewed in all popular browsers on Windows, Mac or Linux computers.

Registration is per web site. The initial registration covers the program and the first registered domain. Additional sites are levied at a much lower fee. Any site or folder on the web can be registered. It doesn't have to be a full domain and can be a home page almost anywhere. Secure image will lock to any folder or page on the web.

As well as the obvious features such as prevention of direct saving, etc., each registered site has a unique key so that the image may only be seen from the protected site. The images cannot be viewed from anywhere else and are safe on your server. They are not obtainable by direct or indirect means... only by viewing the image from your page and from within its applet. Cached images are encrypted and useless to everyone away from your web site.
