decrypted when displayed on web page from within your web

CopySafe Web on a web site?
The CopySafe Web solution can be utilized on any web page by simply
copying a few lines of code to the html. To convert your
images to encrypted format utilizing domain lock, the CopySafe
Web converter will import images (single or batch mode) and
save then to html pages ready for immediate upload to your
site or you can use those new pages for the code to replace
the images already on your web site.
What precautions do I need to ensure that security is
maintained?
Common sense. CopySafe Web documentation recommended guidelines
to avoid common pitfalls such as exposing your site to folder
view by not including a default start page such as index.html,
default.htm , etc according on your server's requirement. It
is most recommended that your visitors access the protected
pages via an index page that first checks that they do in fact
have the plugin installed and that their web browser is
compliant, for example with JavaScript and Java enabled.
CopySafe Web includes instructions and sample code for the
detection of all requirements. Security sensitive content should not be
directly linked from your home page unless you want search
engines to find it.
Can I set up CopySafe Web pages for e-commerce and live sales?
Yes. CopySafe Web code inserts can be added to the existing
templates of your shopping cart or image gallery. You can
use the CopySafe Web software to create your own insert
codes, or you can use CopySafe Web Insert which provides
ready made
insert templates created for your site by ArtistScope.
Does CopySafe provide plugin support with certification?
CopySafe Web plugins for Internet Explorer and the Firefox
plugins are code signed using Microsoft Authenticode for
verification of ArtistScope authenticity.
Are there any limitations with links to
CopySafe pages?
None, except that we don't recommend letting your visitors
link directly to your CopySafe pages without first reading
an introduction or caution message regarding the high level of
security. Directing new visitors to an intro page also ensures
that they already the plugin installed and that there visit
will be trouble free.
Is there a process
for maintaining updates in CopySafe Web?
Yes. When an update is available any new features are added
into the plugin. Updates do not affect the software program
nor affect any content on your web site except for
modification to one single file to change the version number.
Any subsequent visitors to your protected content will then
advised to update their plugin so that your site can be
afforded the latest in security.
Do you offer both real-time and online technical support?
Over the years we have found that the best support is
provided by email where you have the option to explain your
requirements in detail, provide links to test examples and
attach example files. ArtistScope support email is monitored
around the clock by our support team located in several
countries around the world, thus catering for all time zones.
